A mini-excavator is powerful enough for most trenching jobs.

The Cat 304E2 has multiple attachments including a 36" bucket, 18" bucket and ripper tooth.
This excavator also has a thumb for easily picking up rocks and logs.
This Cat mini excavator can easily push over the largest pine trees and can dig to 11 feet deep.
